BDM Tool 3

Reads and writes SAAB Trionic (and Volvo CEM) ECU flash and SRAM over BDM (Background Debug Mode). An extended Go/Fyne version of Janis Silins' BDM Tool.

BDM connector hookup

Interactive 3D view of where the 10-way BDM plug goes on the ECU board. Switch between Trionic 7 and Trionic 5, lift the plug to see which hole lands on which pin, drag to orbit. Open full screen (Trionic 5).

Requires Go and libusb-1.0 development headers.
